Hello

My name is Pastor Chad Lovejoy

I am living proof that God will choose to call the most unlikely people into the ministry. The Lord made me a skeptic and this would be to my benefit because through my skepticism I sought out to prove that The Bible was erroneous and truly not from God Himself. I like to tell people that I lost but thankfully I won, because He gave me victory over Death, Hell and The Grave by saving my soul when I was out to prove Him wrong. I am blessed to be the husband to my wife Faye and father to my three children Brandy, CJ and Shaelyn. I have been The Lead Pastor since 2012 and if you think that means that I have it all figured out you would be wrong!  Come to Our Victory Church and let’s grow in Christ together!

Hello

My Name is Associate Pastor Justin Ferrell

I'm a child of God, a husband and a father. I didn't grow up going to church and I'm convinced the Lord used fantasy football to lead me to Him. If you're wondering what I mean by that, you'll have to come to church and ask me.

I was saved in 2014 when I was a senior in high school and The Lord called me to preach shortly afterwards.

Our Story

Our Victory Church was founded in 1975 and previously occupied the name "Victory Baptist Church". From 1975 to April of 2023, the church congregated at the old location of 5310 Big Tyler Road in Cross Lanes. After much prayer and deliberation, the church felt moved by the Lord's guidance to relocate.

Since settling into the new building, the members decided to drop the "Baptist" title from the church name, seeing as it comes with prenotations that do not embody our church. We are not a legalistic church; we allow the Holy Spirit to move unhindered. Most importantly, we believe that it does not matter what denomination an individual chooses to identify under. The only thing that matters is your salvation and the building up of the Kingdom of Heaven. The victory that we receive through Jesus Christ is not defined as Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, etc. No matter what denomination our brothers and sisters in Christ refer to themselves as, we all share "Our Victory" through Jesus Christ with one another.

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." 1 Corinthians 1:10

"Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" 1 Corinthians 15:57
